The COVID-19 shot has been readily available for many months now. One would assume that those who wanted it, have had the opportunity to get it. Vaccine ads are everywhere on billboards, commercials, and social media. You can walk into most pharmacies to get a free vaccine. Even Walmart and Target are offering free vaccines for walk-ins in many areas. But Joe Biden thinks it’s a good idea to send random people out to unsuspecting Americans to discuss their vaccine status. So, why does the federal government think we need door-to-door visits for vaccinations? Does anyone else find this alarming?

Health records are private

The first issue in a long line of issues associated with door-to-door vaccine distribution is privacy. Health records are supposed to remain private between an individual and their health care provider unless a release is signed. With this in mind, how would our government officials know who has and who hasn’t been vaccinated already? American citizens are under no obligation to report their vaccination status to a stranger trespassing on their property. This is no longer about public health. We are rapidly approaching a police state where citizens no longer have privacy or health autonomy.

How to deal with unwanted vaccination visitors

Legally, understand that you don’t have to open the door. You have the right to ask for their identification. You also have the right to tell them to leave your property and not to come back. According to the 4th and 5th Amendments to the United States Constitution, government agents or volunteers cannot be on your property if you tell them to leave unless they have a warrant. You can also trespass them from your property using this form.

At this point, no one knows how serious Biden is about actually sending agents out to attempt coerced vaccinations at people’s homes. But it’s important to be prepared. COVID-19 vaccinations should be left up to each individual. People should have the chance to research the shot and not feel pressured by a government agent at their front door. We have no idea of the long-term effects of this vaccine and it’s highly irresponsible, not to mention completely suspect, for the government to be going door-to-door to vaccinate citizens. Know your rights. You don’t have to engage with anyone who approaches your door. The government has no legal standing to ask for your vaccination status, at least not yet. But if we don’t stand up for our basic rights, outlined in our Constitution, this radical administration will continue to erode all the freedoms our country was founded on.
