We’ve all been there. It’s time to run errands and you’re trying to hurry your kid out of the house. There’s just one thing standing in your way — they won’t take off their old Halloween costume. It’s cute and all, but it’s 100°, but a long-sleeved Mario costume isn’t really the most weather-appropriate outfit. Sometimes you just have to throw those concerns out of the window, like the parents of this adorable girl dressed as BB-8.
If there’s a right way to do Disney World, this is it.
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is the newest themed area in Hollywood Studios, one of Disney World’s several parks. You’ll be able to fly the Millennium Falcon, build a custom lightsaber, and drop in for a drink at Oga’s Cantina.
Sadly it’s not open just yet, so you won’t be able to visit until Aug. 29, 2019.
That didn’t stop this little girl from meeting her favorite character in the most adorable way possible.
BB-8, meet BB-8.
LADbible recently shared the video of a young girl tottering up to meet the droid in a giant BB-8 costume. The scene is so cute that the Disney Cast Member straight up loses it. He falls to his knees, grasping his chest while exclaiming, “Oh my god!”
After regaining his composure he helps the girl pose for a photo, and adds “He said you look pretty BB-great.” I am here for the Star Wars puns.
Her mom told the Cast Member that her daughter had met Kylo Ren before moving on to score a picture with her favorite little droid. She may have been less excited for that first encounter, because according to her mom, she kept telling Kylo, “I’m just a girl. I’m just a girl!”
Disney brings out a little bit of magic in all of us, which is why this video has over 122,000 views and has been shared nearly 27,000 times on Facebook. So to the little girl dressed as BB-8, keep on fighting the good fight against the First Order.
