The regulations surrounding abortion are controversial. For most women, abortions are readily available on demand. In fact, on average, there is one medical or surgical abortion performed every 37 seconds in the United States. But does anyone ever wonder what happens to all those aborted babies? Abortion advocates consider them to be tissue, so they are disposed of in the same way a tumor would be. The mother never deals with the baby post-abortion. The responsibility of disposal is left up to the medical facility. An alarming story recently revealed that the FDA has a history of buying aborted babies. But what would the Food and Drug Administration do with dead babies?
The truth about what’s really going on
I’m assuming that most people who support abortion don’t consider the baby to be a living human with rights. Otherwise, they would be supporting legalized murder. So, I suppose many people who consider themselves to be pro-choice probably don’t think about what happens to the aborted child after the procedure. There have always been rumors that aborted fetal tissue and body parts were sold for various reasons. But a Judicial Watch report from 2020 proves that a federal entity was trafficking bodies of babies. Many of these babies were weeks from being born. Some could have survived outside the womb. So, why would the FDA purchase aborted babies? Apparently, they needed these organs and tissues for experimentation.
Who is buying aborted babies?
I recently read an alarming book about Kermit Gosnell, an infamous abortion doctor. He was convicted of murder, manslaughter, and other charges related to the illegal things he did in his practice. Toward the end of the book, there was mention of a group called the Center for Medical Progress. They released some videos in 2015 that show some top Planned Parenthood executives talking casually about the prices of various parts of aborted fetal tissue. These videos are extremely graphic in nature and not for the faint of heart. But they show a glimpse into just how little these people value human life. It goes against federal regulations for anyone to profit from the sale of human tissue. So, why have we ignored this? Why hasn’t anyone done something about it?
Abortion is a tough topic. People have very strong fundamental beliefs about it. On one side you have those who consider abortion to be health care for the mother. On the other hand, you have people who believe abortion is the same as murdering a child outside the womb. No matter your stance on abortion, surely we can all agree that the FDA has no business using taxpayers’ money to buy aborted babies. In fact, many people would argue that buying aborted babies is the same as trafficking live humans. Don’t these children deserve respect and dignity after death? If you actually research the atrocities associated with abortion, you may even conclude that it’s a barbaric and inhumane practice that has no place in a civilized society.
