When they love, they love HARD. INFPs are guided by principles such as honor, morality and virtue versus practicality and logic (who needs that stuff anyway, right??).
They are idealistic and try to understand people. Like ENFJs, they want to help others reach their full potential. They can adapt easily and are generally accepting of others…as long as those “others” are not stepping on their value system.
Strengths and weaknesses
We can’t help but be attracted to their optimism. They promote harmony, creativity and open-mindedness. If it’s good enough for Professor Trelawney and Luna Lovegood, it should be good enough for you. These kind-hearted airy personalities are grounded by dedication and hard work.
Sometimes though, we can have too much of a good thing. INFPs might become too idealistic or too altruistic. Sometimes, we just have to face facts. This can be hard for sensitive and gentle INFPs, so they can become impractical while chasing their dreams. INFPs hate conflict. Well duh. We already know they love harmony, so….??
