I’ve avoided writing about “President” Joe Biden because the topic causes me severe anxiety. As a writer, I understand how therapeutic the process of putting thoughts on paper can be. That’s why I’m writing this post. Since taking office (and I mean that in a literal sense) Joe Biden has done several things that cause me and approximately 80 million or more other Americans serious concern.
I’m hoping that putting my thoughts in writing will help me “let go and let God” so I can carry out the duties in the normal course of my daily routine without feeling over-the-top stressed all the time. If you were to ask me (and many people have) what President Donald Trump did that made me such an avid supporter who was willing to vote for him twice, I’d be able to ramble off a long list of things. I can’t think of a single thing Biden has done that inspires my support. It’s quite the opposite, in fact. He’s done many things in his first month of office that the average person using logic and critical thinking skills would find troubling.
Joe Biden has opened US electrical power grid to China
China is a communist regime. Prominent Chinese figures have been filmed discussing alleged plans to control America by planting infiltrators in numerous strategic positions in Hollywood, our universities, the Catholic Church and other places. Joe Biden has publicly stated numerous times that he planned to remove every executive order (EO) President Donald Trump signed.
One of the EOs he recently removed had been put in place to protect the U.S. power grid from China. Biden has rescinded it. In Section 7, subsection C of Biden’s new EO, it orders a 90-day suspension of the Trump administration’s order. Biden’s order also states that “The Secretary of Energy and Director of Office of Management and Budget shall jointly consider whether to recommend that a replacement order be issued.”
Joe Biden wants illegal alien sex offenders to stay in the US
For the life of me, I can’t see how it’s a good idea to protect illegal alien sex offenders from deportation. Yet, the Biden “administration” has ended a policy the Trump administration instituted that compels Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to deport people who illegally entered the U.S. and have been convicted of sex crimes.
Biden also canceled Operation Talon, which was soon to be carried out, thus targeting the arrests of convicted sexual offenders, in particular, child molesters. Instead of supporting immigration officers in their efforts to locate, arrest and deport illegal aliens who have committed serious sex crimes in this country, Joe Biden has instead declared the entire country a sanctuary jurisdiction. Can someone please tell me how that benefits the American people?
Our taxpayer dollars will soon be funding abortions globally
There’s been a lot of political debate regarding the COVID stimulus bill. It’s so important to read the fine print incorporated into such documents as tedious as that may be. In this particular bill, approximately $414 billion of taxpayer money is allocated toward funding abortions on a global scale.
How is that COVID relief? And, please, tell me why our hard-earned dollars should be used against our will to abort babies instead of using that money to help struggling families and business owners who are unable to make ends meet because of unlawful state mandates that have destroyed small business owners and local economies throughout the country?
Our new president is allowing males to compete in female athletics
Males have a physical advantage against females in sports. It is a fact. You cannot change it. It is irrefutable. Joe Biden has signed an EO that allows males who live as though they are females (transgenders) to compete in female athletic competitions. A male who wants to live as a female is not the same as biological females.
It is an outright denial of science to claim otherwise and there is zero fairness about forcing females to compete against males. This is especially true in track and field. I’ve written about it before here on The Hot Mess Press. You can read an article here. For the purpose of today’s post, I’ll just say that Joe Biden’s EO is unfairly biased against females. Many girls and women are at risk for losing scholarships to college. There’s also a serious safety and privacy risk by allowing males to use the same showers, locker rooms and restrooms as female athletes.
Thousands of jobs lost within Biden’s first three days
The canceling of the Keystone pipeline wreaked havoc across the country within Joe Biden’s first three days in office. Thousands of people lost their jobs. It’s also a LOT more dangerous to transport oil by way of railroad and trucking companies. Both means of transport are at a much higher risk for spills.
These issues are just the tip of the iceberg
I’ve mentioned only a few of a long list of things Joe Biden has done in his first month of office that are not only detrimental to the American people but, in some cases, place our national security at great risk, as well. How is this good? How is this fair? Why would we applaud or support this?
I project that it won’t take long at all for Joe Biden’s actions to produce disastrous results. President Donald Trump did so many things that benefitted the American people. His administration succeeded in making the U.S. energy independent for the first time in history. (Biden is undoing that.)
The Trump administration created thousands of new jobs, brought manufacturing back to the United States and secured the lowest unemployment rate we’d had in 50 years. Trump had made great strides to secure fair trade agreements for the U.S., to lower prescription drug prices, to secure peace in the Middle East and so much more. Biden froze a December rule to lower insulin and epinephrine prices. This will undoubtedly cause financial distress to more than 20 million Americans.
I cant’ think of one thing Joe Biden has done since he arrived in Washington D.C. that is good.
