This has been a hard week for my stateside compatriots: a sweet toddler was killed by an alligator at a family resort, a promising songstress was gunned down while holding a meet-and-greet with fans, and a hate crime left fifty dead at a popular gay club. These are just a few of the stories that hurt the heart and soul. I have found that even the stories of humanity that are meant to be uplifting still make me cry and feel sad.
It’s hard to detach from these stories. I fear knowing the pain first-hand of what it’s like to lose a child or Loved One in a tragic manner. Our brains are wired to be on the constant lookout for danger, so we’re naturally drawn to stories that incite fear and pain. The problem is, every day, there is something to fear. We need to practice being safe as we’re living our lives, but I don’t want to be controlled by the fear that someone wants to hurt me or destroy my way of life. I’d rather laugh and feel joyful instead.
So the rest of this article will be dedicated to the things I find on the internet that make me laugh–and I mean, LAUGH.
Are you a ‘Twilight’ lover? Don’t worry, I won’t tell anyone. Team Edward, by the way. Without fail, this Bad Lipreading vid makes me laugh every time…and there’s more than one so get set to laugh over the course of several minutes.
Even though Katniss is one tough chick, she’s still susceptible to bad lip reading and here’s one I have not seen before. Hate Twilight and think that no one would dare bad lip-read to “Game of Thrones“? Think again! And enjoy 😉

One of my ALL-TIME favorite vids ever posted on YouTube is this one. If you know me well, you know I love to dance and sing–I’m not claiming to be good at it–I just love having fun and this deliciously hilarious vid combines my love for both…I dare you not to laugh!
I adore this guy. I don’t know his name, and it doesn’t matter. His “Things _______do that would be creepy if you did them” segments have me rolling every time. Here is one of my faves: Things Babies Do That’d Be Creepy if You Did Them. Oh! Probably one of my favorites from this series is Things Santa Does That’d Be Creepy if You Did Them.
I think my kids are funny. Sometimes, I think I’m funny. I have a ton of funny moments with my kids but this is my favorite on video.
