Should I Do a Liver Flush?? A Holistic Look…

Written by:

As my faithful readers know, I have been dealing with ailment after ailment for the last four years. My main issues to date are a dormant Eppstein-Barr virus, adrenal fatigue, low hormones, and hypothyroidism. Everything is interrelated, yet but basically combines into one big mess in my body is causing me to lose sleep, hair and energy. The only gain I’m seeing from these illnesses is the relentless weight-gain and inability to lose it.

I am grateful to have found the holistic communities on Facebook because they gave me a starting point and a lot of info on how to get better. The first step, as I covered in the past, is to begin clearing your body of parasites. This is a never-ending process since parasites are being constantly introduced to our bodies, the same way you might get germs, a cold virus, or an sexually transmitted disease. This is no two-day process…you must follow the 100-Day protocol, which includes cleaning the bowels.

Next step, per Dr. Hulda Clark is to do a kidney flush. If your urine is clear in the mornings, you probably have kidney-filtering issues. The murkier the pee, the better the filtering. Getting the kidneys back up to speed is a relatively easy process: a few dietary adjustments for twenty one days and this tea will do the trick.

And now you’re ready for the liver flush. This is where I am today. I’ve been waiting for close to a year to do the liver flush and now that I feel prepped, I’m praying this is the miracle flush that’s going to help me with a lot of my hair loss and lethargy issues. Here is a list of congested liver signs per the Mayo Clinic:

  • Skin and eyes that appear yellowish (jaundice)
  • Abdominal pain and swelling
  • Swelling in the legs and ankles
  • Itchy skin
  • Dark urine color
  • Pale stool color, or bloody or tar-colored stool
  • Chronic fatigue
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Loss of appetite
  • Tendency to bruise easily

Now, don’t fret about the causes of liver disease the Mayo Clinic includes on their following pages. Although it’s true that you may have hepatitis, you may also be like me, experiencing a congested/clogged liver and gallbladder. If you want to read more about congested liver and the process to cure it, I highly recommend Andreas Moritz’s book, The Amazing Liver and Gallbladder Flush.

While delving into what it means to have a congested liver and how it affects the body, I have really come to understand a few things about the liver and why it’s important to heal it. Basically, it’s our most powerful toxin-eliminating organ and when it’s not functioning properly, we will see the affects throughout our body. The ones I have noticed first-hand is major hair loss and thinning, especially at the crown of my head, lethargy, constipation and a host of skin issues including incessant itching and rashes.

In my next installment, I will supply you with a list of items we’ll need for the liver flush. I’ll include a link to the friendly and informative Facebook group that has been helping me. Onward and upward!
