The truth about human trafficking in the US - The Hot Mess Press

Human trafficking is the ugly truth that no one in the media wants to talk about. It’s modern-day slavery. Why aren’t major news stations covering information on human trafficking? The only way to end it is to make people aware of it. Children are being taken from their families, sold to sick pedophiles, tortured, and killed. Surely anyone can agree that stopping human trafficking is an important goal. President Trump made a lot of progress in getting the truth out to people. His progress must not be stopped. There are many layers involved in human trafficking, some of which are too unbearable to hear for those new to this information. So, I’m going to stick to the basics. Everyone needs to know the truth about human trafficking in the US.

Who’s involved?

Human trafficking, whether it’s children or adults, happens all around the nation. Thousands of children are smuggled in over the Mexican border every year. This is one of the main reasons we need to continue building the border wall. This story from December 2020 says that over 3,500 unattended children were found near the border. Some of these children were likely separated from family members. But others were certainly brought over for trafficking. So, who’s buying these children? There are many elite people in our country who are involved in these despicable practices. Pay attention to those associated with Jeffrey Epstein. Check out the declassified information that shows who was on his flight logs. Then focus on political connections. The information will start to come together.

What can you do about it?

You may feel cognitive dissonance when you first hear about these horror stories. Your brain doesn’t want to accept this type of evil. Once you move past it, take action. Contact your state legislators. Tell them they must work with the current administration to continue efforts to end human trafficking. Spread the information you learn. The more people who are aware of this, the more power there is to stop it. Research beyond what the media tells you. Share stories on social media. I’ve found that some of the best information on the truth about human trafficking actually comes from Telegram and Gab. Instagram also has some good sources of information but they do remove a lot of posts and accounts. Facebook and Twitter tend to censor and remove anything related to these subjects. Does that make you wonder? Why don’t they want this information out there?

Don’t give up

Power and money do not give these people the right to enslave others. If you do your own research, it may lead you to some very recognizable names. It may be disheartening to see these famous people involved in such corruption. But don’t give up on finding the truth. There are plenty of people out there who are working hard to stop human trafficking. In fact, President Trump signed 2 executive orders to combat human trafficking. In addition to these orders, he also designated January as National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month. As a result of these efforts, in late January of 2021, 33 children were rescued from traffickers in Southern California. But it’s simply not enough. These elite trafficking rings have to be completely dismantled.

The truth about human trafficking is ugly. But the media doesn’t cover it nearly enough. In fact, many Americans aren’t even aware of how bad it really is. Because of media censorship, do your own research and spread the word. Children, teens, and adults are suffering at the hands of some very horrible people. The public is familiar with many of the people involved. I know it’s shocking that celebrities, politicians, and other elite people could do these things. But that’s how it has gone on for so long. They assume the stories are too outrageous to be believed. If you dig a little deeper, you can see that there is a horrific network of people involved. The mainstream media doesn’t report on this. Why? Because the media outlets are owned by people who don’t want this information out there.
